What else can I tell you that might help to suss out this issue? Wireless internet mobile broadband (which for some reason also doesn't register when the computer sleeps - it still wants to show that there is a device connected when it is not) Win 7 Home - which has been updated with latest security updates I have been using the FnF4 keys also - that seems to have better results, but I really would like it to behave as it did when it was first brand new and just sleep when I close the lid as I have it set to do.Īny suggestions on where to look or settings to adjust would be helpful.
i have set it not to wake from the mouse movement. I have checked to see that my AV isn't running and that it doesn't appear that anything is going on in the background. Now - not sure what has changed - SOMETIMES when I close the lid it will go into sleep mode momentarily and then revert to waking mode. All was fine when I first got it about a month ago - when I closed the lid it would sleep and stay asleep. I have seen this question a few times in these forums, and it is happening to my X230 as well.
